Selection Matrix

Use the site condition to choose the next route

The same solar pump inverter can serve different applications, but the design questions change by water source, environment and operating duty.

Project Signal Likely Application Product Route Start Here
Crop water demand, field pressure, daily schedule Solar irrigation SP1, SP3, SP4, cabinet, accessories Irrigation
Deep borehole, total head, submersible pump Deep well supply Submersible pump plus inverter matching Deep well

Village water, tank storage, limited maintenance access Remote water supply Complete system package Remote supply
Animal demand, pasture distance, trough or tank water Livestock water Pump, inverter, storage, cabinet Livestock water
Water-level control, flood risk or station drainage Solar drainage SP4 or hybrid path plus cabinet Drainage

Before Quotation

One project brief is enough to choose the next path

Send the data once and we can recommend whether to start from SP4, 220V inverters, pump selection, cabinet, controller or accessories.

Pump Nameplate

Voltage, phase, kW or HP, rated current.

Water Data

Head, flow, well depth, water source.

Solar Plan

Panel wattage, panel count or site country.

Protection Need

Cabinet, IP level, dust, humidity, salt fog.

FAQ

Solar pump applications FAQ

How do we choose the right application page?

Start from the water job: irrigation, deep well supply, desert pumping, remote supply, livestock water or drainage. Then use the pump nameplate to choose the product path.

Do all applications use the same inverter?

No. Small 220V systems, 380V three-phase pumps, protected outdoor controllers and cabinet projects need different equipment routes.

Can SolarSeeker help when only the application is known?

Yes. Share the water source, pump data, head, flow and country. We can recommend the next product page and the basic system direction.

Which application usually needs SP4?

Large irrigation, deep wells, drainage stations and many remote water projects use SP4 when the pump is 380V three phase.

Next Step

Not sure which application path fits the project?

Send the pump nameplate, water source, head, flow and project country. We will point you to the right inverter, pump, cabinet or kit path.
